Description
BW Solo Replacement Sensors
The BW Solo gas detector is a reliable and efficient device designed to monitor various gases in the atmosphere, ensuring the safety of workers in hazardous environments. To maintain its optimal performance, it is essential to replace worn-out sensors with genuine BW Solo Replacement Sensors. These branded replacement sensors are specifically designed for the BW Solo detector and can prolong the life of your device, enabling it to continue functioning efficiently.
The BW Solo gas detectors are equipped with advanced sensors capable of detecting a wide range of gases, including carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen sulphide (H2S), oxygen (O2), ammonia (NH3), chlorine (Cl2), and many others. By replacing the worn-out sensors with the appropriate BW Solo Replacement Sensors, you can ensure that your device remains fully functional and provides accurate gas readings, keeping your workers safe during crucial moments.
Key Features
- Spare gas sensors: These replacement sensors are designed specifically for the BW Solo gas detector, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
- 1-series and 4-series compatibility: The BW Solo Replacement Sensors are available for both the 1-series and 4-series models, allowing you to choose the appropriate sensor for your device.
- Easy operation: Replacing the sensors is a straightforward process, making maintenance and upkeep convenient for users.
BW Solo Replacement Sensors are available for various gases, including ammonia (NH3), carbon monoxide (CO), chlorine (Cl2), chlorine dioxide (ClO2), ethylene oxide (ETO), hydrogen (H2), hydrogen cyanide (HCN), hydrogen sulphide (H2S), nitric oxide (NO), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), oxygen (O2), ozone (O3), phosphine (PH3), and sulphur dioxide (SO2).The 1-Series sensors offer a fast response time, reliable performance, and long life even in extreme environments. Due to their small size, gas diffuses into them quickly, allowing them to respond to fluctuations in gas levels as they occur. The 1-Series sensors are built to last up to two years and come with a 1-year warranty.
To replace the sensor, follow these steps:
- Power down the detector.
- Remove the front cover and sensor filter.
- Unscrew the sensor cover and remove the old sensor.
- Install the new sensor, ensuring proper alignment and sealing.
- Reassemble the device and replace the sensor filter.
After replacing a sensor, allow the new sensor to stabilize for the recommended time before use, typically ranging from 30 minutes to 12 hours, depending on the gas type. Always calibrate the instrument after changing the sensor.
