Dräger Acetic Acid 10/a-D Diffusion Tube

The Dräger Acetic Acid 10/a-D Diffusion Tube measures acetic acid levels from 10 to 200 ppm. It operates for a maximum of 8 hours and has a shelf life of 2 years.

For measurements, the tube offers different ranges:

• 10 to 200 ppm in 1 hour,
• 5 to 100 ppm in 2 hours,
• 2.5 to 50 ppm in 4 hours,
• 1.3 to 25 ppm in 8 hours.

The standard deviation is ±20 to 25%. Users will see a colour change from blue-violet to yellow when acetic acid is present.

This tube works best in temperatures between 20 and 25 °C and with absolute humidity of 1 to 15 mg H2O/L. However, it cannot measure acetic acid in the presence of other acids like formic acid or sulphur dioxide, which show similar sensitivity.
