Dräger Carbon Dioxide 100/a-P Aerotest Tube

The Dräger Carbon Dioxide 100/a-P Aerotest Tube measures CO2 levels from 100 to 3,000 ppm. It is compatible with LP or HP Aerotest Kits. Each tube has a shelf life of two years.

This tube requires a test volume of 1 litter and operates at a flow rate of 0.2 litters per minute. The measurement takes about five minutes, with a standard deviation of ±10 to 15%. A colour change from white to violet indicates the CO2 concentration.

For optimal performance, use the tube in temperatures between 15°C and 25°C and under a maximum humidity of 23 mg H2O/L. It should only be used with depressurized compressed air.

The reaction principle involves CO2 reacting with hydrazine to form crystal violet. Note that hydrogen sulphide and sulphur dioxide do not affect the results within the TLV range.
