Equipped with a robust case and a sealed filter, each hood offers at least 15 minutes of essential protection, providing users with the time needed to exit a danger zone.
One of the standout features of the PARAT escape hood series is its innovative and intuitive operation. Simply opening the soft pack or hard case automatically releases the filter plug, immediately activating the filter. With the self-adjusting internal head harness, no extra adjustments are needed once the hood is donned. Users need only to open the package, remove the hood, and put it on, enabling swift movement away from hazardous areas without delay.
Dräger PARAT® Filtering Escape Hoods come in various configurations tailored to specific needs, including fire escape, industrial escape, and a combined version for dual protection. The high-performance combination filters are approved according to EN 403:2004 for fire escape hoods and/or DIN 58647-7 for industrial filtering escape devices. Additionally, the industrial versions undergo rigorous testing to meet EN 14387:2004 standards for gas and combined filters, ensuring reliable, comprehensive protection against a wide range of toxic gases, vapours, and particles.
To maintain its effectiveness, the filter is tightly sealed with two filter plugs, preserving its integrity over an extended lifespan.
